COVID-19 Business Resources for Today's Essential Fleets

Here at Advanced Emission Control Solutions, we understand the serious consequences of pulling off the road during these challenging times—Missed deliveries of urgent supplies, goods, parts, and services. Our country depends on the services you provide during this COVID-19 crisis.

AECS is committed to keeping our doors open to support you. We have received notifications to provide an essential service and we remain focused on keeping your fleet in top working condition. Our top concern is ensuring your health and safety, and the health and safety of our employees, while we all continue to perform our indispensable duties.

To alleviate your concerns, we instruct our employees follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (the CDC) guidelines for COVID-19 prevention at work and at home by:

  • Washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, particularly after leaving public areas, and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  • Using hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol when not near soap and running water.
  • Routinely cleaning and disinfecting work areas, especially those that are frequently touched.
  • Avoiding touching the face, particularly the nose, mouth, and eyes, with unwashed hands.
  • Practicing safe social distancing of at least six feet as often as possible.
  • Wearing a face cloth to cover the mouth and nose when working around others.
  • Adhering to additional guidelines as they apply to our facility, vehicles, and business.

We also ask our employees to stay at home if they feel sick, and we honor the wishes of high-risk employees to shelter in place at home as they deem necessary.

When you call on AECS to service your vehicles, you can rest at ease knowing that we take your health seriously. Visit the following recommended resources to learn how to implement COVID-19 protection to your business operations and valued employees.

Financial Reprieve for AG Vehicles

Operating under the CARB’s AG Mileage Extension give you up until January 1, 2023 to install a retrofit and extend your mileage, all in an effort to help you avoid discarding out-of-compliance vehicles. As long as you continue to maintain DPFs, all fleets that operate exclusively in CARB’s NOx Exempt Areas can take advantage of this AG Mileage Extension. If you do business in Monterey, San Benito, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Santa Cruz Counties, you may qualify.

During this COVID-19 crisis, AECS remains open to serve you, providing CARB-compliant retrofits throughout the NOx Exempt counties.
